I earned my BA in Biology and Chemistry from Stanford University in 2008 before obtaining my MD from Harvard Medical School in 2012. Completed dermatology residency at University of California, San Francisco in 2016, where my thesis on skin barrier dysfunction in eczema patients earned the Resident Research Award. Joined UCSF faculty as Assistant Clinical Professor from 2016-2018, publishing three papers in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology on ceramide replenishment for chronic dryness. In 2018, launched my dermatology practice in Miami, Florida, treating over 4,500 patients affected by humid-climate aggravated conditions like the 7.7% of U.S. adults with diagnosed eczema. My protocols emphasize prescription-strength emollients alongside lifestyle tweaks. In my downtime, I experiment with homebrewing IPAs, fine-tuning recipes for balance just as I do with skincare regimens.
